HAPPY EMS WEEK!

The Lancaster County EMS Council would like to express their thanks to Lancaster County's EMS providers for the unhesitating, compassionate care that you provide on a daily basis. You are the tip of the healthcare spear and must remain sharp at all times, ready to respond at a moment's notice, in all kinds of weather. You are the true heroes.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Lancaster General Hospital & Trauma Center and Lancaster Emergency Associates (LEA) for their support of Lancaster County's EMS Providers. Each year during EMS Week, they provide gifts of appreciation, free food on the ramp, a family picnic and other initiatives to support EMS throughout the County.

This year, in addition to everything else, Lancaster General produced a YouTube video to express their appreciation. To view the video and their salute to EMS, just click the following link.

Welcome to Our New Site

Welcome to the new look of the Lancaster County EMS Council on the web. We will do our best to use the site to keep you posted on the latest happenings in EMS throughout Lancaster County and beyond.

Are you participating in your EMS Council? If so, great, we thank you for your contribution. If not, please feel free to attend a meeting to see how you can help. The EMS Council exists because of you. Without you, it will fade away. Help us to remain a strong presence in the community.

About the web site: It is still a work in progress and changes will take place throughout the coming weeks. Several of the links are not yet working. Please check back often for updates.

We are in need of content to include photos, stories, events and training opportunities, just to name a few. All content should be EMS related. Submission instructions will be posted soon.
